alrights!!!
for the past 12 weeks, my status was:
no work on every saturdays.
my current status is:
no work EVERYDAY!!!
hahaa. simple logic: because i have ended my attachment!! yippeeee!!!!
hahha. i am like a free-er now. lol!!!
anyway, retail had been a good place. at least for me. so i didn't really understand why some people say retail is not nice. maybe it's the memory job. oh well, that was ok with me coz at least people there wont scold you if u forgot where things are. and i liked there tons coz i got to see tons of atas drugs and feeds and dressings. but i thought 3 weeks was like super short. there are still tons of stuffs that i have yet to learnt!!!! that is like the only regret in retail. oh well, too late for regrets. it's over already.
12 weeks of Hougang,

had been great. really.
there had been bad times. like seriously bad times.
but well, we learnt from it, don't we?
don't ask me where will i wanna go in future.

No More FYP!! :))

FYP IS FINALLY OVER!!!
*heaves a sigh of relief*
it's like a big big stone being let off.
now, it's really TIME TO PLAY PLAY PLAY!!!

these 3 months,
i had grumblings and complaints.
i didn't understand what i was reading.
i even dreamt of the bone structures in my sleep when reading about pathophysiology of the disease.
yes, that was how bad it was.
oh, & there was this shitty AES that practically tore everyone's hair off.

& many more.. HAHA!
after the first presentation,
there were few weeks whereby i would meet irene to go back to school library to do fyp.
yeah~ fyp partner. haha!
& we would chat about tons of stuffs too. haha!
oh well,
i don't feel like talking much about fyp now, since it's over.

Miscellanoeus Week
updates~ :))
work--
week 8: Miscellaneous week;
A&E, store, labs.
A&E is nothing to do de. just sit and stone.
Store Receiving area is boring with a huge capital B but issuing side is fun Fun FUN! got to the world of many cartons. I'm a strong girl! :DD develop muscles. heh heh heh!
Labs are bored coz they don't let us do anything, just see see only. sian.. make my heart itchy only.
this week is retail pharmacy. so is next week. and next next week.

BACK TO GREEN RIDGE PRIMARY SCHOOL!!!!!!
it has been 5 months since i had been back.
5 MONTHS!!!
doesn't seem much changes, except that the kids learnt more things.
back again after 5 months, did 2 first times
first time take warm up on my own. thanks RQ for letting me have the chance.
first time take a class on my own. the 11am lil' kids all by myself.
it wasn't easy, but the kids were not that bad. so yeah, i survived. :DDDDD
went down to fuhai after that, then to ubi to cheer them for grading.
helped out a lil' too. but i didn't help much. hahaha!
come march,RQ and Taiji partner will be going for theirs.
JIAYOU!!! and to TJ partner, dun aim for pass only ok????

yesterday sunday got no tampines training.
so after hongwen went to orchard with friends.
can imagine?? to town in orchard area in wushu attire is not enough,
my sword is with me leh!!! carrying sword with me in town. LOL!
anyway, it was super fun, because MY FIRST TIME TO ION ORCHARD!

Week 4 at Inpatient Pharmacy
hoohoo~ long time no blog!
hahahh!!!
time really flies.
last wednesday i was just back in school for FYP presentation.
this week's wednesday, i went back once again.
for a talk, and chiong FYP part 2 with Irene.
library is really a nice place to work in, especially towards the night, when it is quiet.
i didn't even need music to keep me awake.
i simply love the quietness.
shall be back there again. heh! :))
this week is week 4 at inpatient pharmacy.
LAST WEEK ALREADY!!!!
see, time flies right???
this is a place where i had fun.
more fun than SOC, but less dispensing though.
hahha!
but this is the place where my life did not revolve only around picking and packing,
which is something i yearned for.
i like to do returns, even though i might feel sleepy cutting tablets whole afternoon.
(something which SS yearns to do, haha!)
i like to do crediting, even though it holds a cautionary label stating 'May Cause Drowsiness'.
i like to do e-portering, even though the pharmacists loves to bomb me with files in piles.
i like to do IOU even though i have not done it before, because i get to walk all over the hospital to the different wards and etc.
i like to help Jaslyn do stocks, because flipping tablets do not require much use of brains.
i like to 'drive' the stock trolley, even though i always lang gar because i have no license.
i like to go top up wards even though i always get lost, even though i cannot differentiate which prep room is A, B or C.
but i always managed to find it in the end.
that is the process of learning on my own.
which is something that i wanna learn.
to stand on my own feet, to ask people when i really need to.
heck care if i dont know the nurses.
but at least, i don't put the patients' lives at stake right?
BUT I STILL DON'T LIKE PHONE OPERATOR DUTIES. >.<
i did dispensing today.
not a lot, no difficult drugs.
simple & straight forward. I LIKE!
hahaha!
went with Fel & Ms Wan.
she's very nice & patient.
& she taught me lots of things too. I LIKE! :))
had lunch with Jaslyn & KY (one of the pharmacist, idk how to spell his name)
once again, the topic never change.
where will i go after i end attachment?
how do i find these places?
these questions that have been asked many times.
many times which i did not put it to serious considerations.
but now, it's different. because i'm only left with 4 weeks.
before i start eating grass & drinking air.
oh well, I've got my plans in mind.

Week 3 of Inpatient Pharmacy, FYP
this week is Week 3.

BACK TO WARD AREA!!!
haha. cool cool.
the coolest thing i've done this week is to go top up wards on my own.
wahaahaha..
ok, it's no big deal.
but i did it ok.
LOL!!!
and the four students were on a 'major project' of answering phone calls.
cool job right??!!
stationed next to the phone for 4 hours everyday,
answering stupid and weird questions from nurses,
answering questions from doctors, public, etc.
running around looking and digging for files and stuffs
no thanks to nurses when they are supposed to be the ones doing those checkings first.

Week 2 of Inpatient Pharmacy
hello!
into week 2 @ inpatient pharmacy..
this week is RX area. boohoo!
everyday is damn xiong.
hoohooo! :'(
past 3 days, i had been in charge of the phone calls.
terrible to max. because i always cannot find the phone,
& sometimes i cannot answer the questions. hahaa
but after that, i sort of got used to it already. haaha!
ok la, sometimes it's fun too, coz when i answer phone, i dun have to pack. LOL!!!
today, David & I gave myself a title:
Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science--
Merit in Flipping of Drugs,
Honours in E-portering
phD in Answering Phone Calls
hahah! ain't it cool? LOL!
this title is enough to remind myself of what i have been doing for the past week. lol!
blah blah blah..
let Rachel look through my ppt. & know where to improve on.
& i printed one super big stack of notes just for it.
not that i am complaining though. but yeah.. thick. HAHAH!

first and second week of 2010.
hmm.. haven't been blogging much these few days right?
oh well, nothing much happened anyway..
it's just plain work work and work.
& some trainings along the way.
& fyp-ing.
things aside from the usuals..
2nd of Jan, i made a decison to go rot in a polyclinic rather than let my face rot.
ok, i didn't really rot, for 2 reasons.
first, jt was with me, second, i got fast queue. heh!
before seeing doctor, jt was telling me i should just go NSC straight and no need see doc le.
but i didn't want to because the last thing i wanted was to go there.
guess what? ended up Dr.Chin gave me referral to NSC. -.-
of course jt laughed like crazy. inside consultation room somemore. i think she scared Dr.Chin a lil'. LOL!
anyway, maybe because it's 2nd Jan. & the polyclinic was like super packed.
like to the top most max, and roof is gonna burst anytime soon, those type of packed.
even my fast queue also have to wait for like 20 minutes lor!
Uncle Amran gave me special queue number at pharmacy. hoho! 6000 one. hahah!
but Irene BAD BAD BAD! she packed my basket slowly.
know why i know? coz she told me! hahahha! tsk tsk!
after that, went bugis with jt, went to pray, and did a lil' shopping.
it's supposed to be 'a lil'.
it was! but the amount spent wasn't exactly. LOL!
back home, lil' fyp again.
training. the usual stuffs.
sunday was training day again..
taiji in the morning was great. haha
coz my kong tui can go up A LIL'
at least it didnt pull my whatever veins or others, unlike last week.
night training was as usual. guided the kids a lil' here and there. hee~
attachment. as always. for these 24 weeks.
attachment wise..
it's second week at IP.
kinda fun so far.
but THIS WHOLE WEEK NO WARD TOP-UP!!
i'm like so sad can.
this whole week is e-portering and packing and jagar-ing between reception and rx and e-porter. LOL! bumble bee busy!
david got to go baby ward. I DIDN'T! *pouts*
i was stuck in packing files after files la. grrr..
not that i don't like.
i sort of like to pack.
but at this point of time,
i think going to wards is more exciting than packing. coz i get to explore,
know what are the different wards and etc.
maybe one day if i am full timer there, and i'll get to walk around the wards until i am sick and tired of it. HAHAHAH!
oh well, i dun care.
i wanna go baby ward one day. HAHAH!
and there's FYP.presentation's coming in like... 8 days?
oh man.
thanks to my SOS last night, my pathophysiology came out le.

left revise revise and revise!
the last thing i want is shock, stunned and shot in the middle of my head with questions.

why am i feeling so tired everyday?
tsk tsk.
i've got a feeling my caffeine tolerance level is increasing.. sigh!
work is good, great.
this week is nice. i hope it continues to be like this till thursday. hahah!
i'm having fun doing dispensing.
my first round of dispensing @ basement wasn't great.
thanks How Tze, 没有跌到哪里会走得远. i'll rmb that. :))
second round of dispensing with CuiWei wasn't that bad.
third round of dispensing with Julia wasn't that bad either.
maybe is different people, different expectations bah;
maybe if she had left me on my own when faced with that problem, i would have solved it myself. coz it's not as though i couldn't faced it. i was just.. maybe a lil' nervous..
today wasn't bad either. got to counsel usage of Nasonex.
Mr Chong taught me the counselling points before..
he made me counsel him the usage of it leh.. how to forget.. LOL!
& i saw a new atas smoking cessation drug.
a drug not taught in my books before. hoho!
& i got to photocopy the PIL. the patient was nice enough to let me do that. heheh!
tmr's starting work @ 9.30am instead of usual 8.30am.
but ending work @ 7pm instead of usual 6pm. *pouts* HAHA!
i'm date-less on christmas eve. LOL! any dates, anyone? HAHA!

WARNING: THIS IS GONNA BE A LONG, WORDY POST!

i realized i haven't been blogging much about work this week. hahah!
this week & next week is gonna be @ B1 pharmacy. now i fully understand why they put us @ level 1 first before going to basement. HAHAH! because basmement is much much more relaxed! i like it @ basement more, like seriously. it's small, it's like polyclinic. just that HP is neater. oops!
anyway, out of 5 days work, i loved friday the most. first, there was KFC plus pizza plus spaghetti treat for lunch. just nice, because i was superly broke on that day. i didn't even had 5 bucks in my pocket unlike last week. haha! secondly, i got the chance to really wander around SGH. my schedule for work that day was running between B1 pharmacy, level 1 pharmacy, BLK 4 (retail) & BLK 8 (store). and BLK 8 was like the furthest. i didn't get to go IP & A&E though. hahah! then, got to observed some dispensing again. gonna do dispensing again next week. YEAH!!! hahahh!

& i am so tired from today's HW training. i think because yesterday play too much already.
suddenly, i felt so lucky that sunday morning training is TaiJi. haha. coz i really don't know how to survive if it is wushu training. & super fierce one.
BUT, who says Taiji is relax and easy and not tiring and won't sweat de. i will rarr rarr at the person definitely. it's tiring also ok!!!!!!! *grumps*

had my 2 rounds of celebration already. :))))))
first was @ HP, on friday. chiong-ed down from SGH right after ending work. hahahah! it was super fun, super high. LOL!!!!! Khairul was the last one to arrive. he only arrived when we started to play games. LOL!!!!! lots of pictures were taken, but i'm just too lazy to upload them. hur hur! & i'm still waiting for pictures to arrive too. so.. wait for the pics ba. HAHA!
anyway, had super loads of fun during the games, and when telling my SGH stories to Dr Steve, Mr Chong & Ms Sanisah. hahaaha! especially the part when Khai & i were telling Irene, Mr Chong & Ms Sanisah about our places currently. i think they really laughed to the max. stories which no one would think about. hahahahha!!!!
of course, there was present exchange. SUPER LOVE MINE!!!!! thank you deep deep, 'secret' sender. you are really really my super buddy!!!! HAHAHAHAHAH! & cheryl gave me & Khai a present each too, even though she wasn't around. she gave me Chip&Dale stuffs!!!!! OMG, high to the max. hahahhahah!
&&&, a must-blog thing.
there was lucky draw. & i won the 3rd prize. DR STEVE DREW MY NAME!!! hahahah! but the vouchers end up also become mummy's gift liao. hoho!

LANCELOT SUPER CUTE!!!!!!!!! hahahhah! was in for total lots of fun, chit-chats, & games. hahah! WE PLAYED TWISTER!!!! which in the end i gave up after a long long time, because i had to crawl over PeiQi, June & a small didi. LOL!!!!
then while chatting, we 'showed off' the languages that we had learnt during attachment places. meproudly showing off my 'saya penat gila'. hahah! Khairul must be proud of me, coz he teach me de.
& he showed off the phrases that i taught him too! i am a good teacher!!!

i realized i haven't been blogging much about work this week. hahah!
this week & next week is gonna be @ B1 pharmacy. now i fully understand why they put us @ level 1 first before going to basement. HAHAH! because basmement is much much more relaxed! i like it @ basement more, like seriously. it's small, it's like polyclinic. just that HP is neater. oops!
anyway, out of 5 days work, i loved friday the most. first, there was KFC plus pizza plus spaghetti treat for lunch. just nice, because i was superly broke on that day. i didn't even had 5 bucks in my pocket unlike last week. haha! secondly, i got the chance to really wander around SGH. my schedule for work that day was running between B1 pharmacy, level 1 pharmacy, BLK 4 (retail) & BLK 8 (store). and BLK 8 was like the furthest. i didn't get to go IP & A&E though. hahah! then, got to observed some dispensing again. gonna do dispensing again next week. YEAH!!! hahahh!

had my 2 rounds of celebration already. :))))))
first was @ HP, on friday. chiong-ed down from SGH right after ending work. hahahah! it was super fun, super high. LOL!!!!! Khairul was the last one to arrive. he only arrived when we started to play games. LOL!!!!! lots of pictures were taken, but i'm just too lazy to upload them. hur hur! & i'm still waiting for pictures to arrive too. so.. wait for the pics ba. HAHA!
anyway, had super loads of fun during the games, and when telling my SGH stories to Dr Steve, Mr Chong & Ms Sanisah. hahaaha! especially the part when Khai & i were telling Irene, Mr Chong & Ms Sanisah about our places currently. i think they really laughed to the max. stories which no one would think about. hahahahha!!!!

if work isn't as tiring.. FYP is making my life more tired.
it's just like sleeping pills. it's better than any drugs that causes drowsiness.

helloooooo!!!!!
first week of work at SGH has ended. NO WORK ON SATURDAYS!
hoohoo!!!~~!!!~~!!!
SOC. nothing much. pick pick pack pack stone stone prepack prepack. that's all.
when i was in HP, second or third day of work, got to give Q numbers le.
over here, i am glad if they rmb me.
i dun even hope for them to teach me typing. sian!
i like work today. because i end at 5.30pm instead of the usual 6pm. :))
plus, i got to go Asthma Clinic today. :))
it's like ACC. just that ACC is warfarin, and this is asthma.
went through the different types of inhalers, used them, played with them, learnt new things, revised old things.
there is going to be a warfarin counselling lesson soon. super looking forward to it.
i want to go ACC again.
Ever since i am introduced to so many things of warfarin by Mr Chong, i want to know more about it. hahah. they told me today that ACC pharmacist would help in titrating warfarin dose. I WANT TO LEARN THAT!!
i've got 2 targets for these 12 weeks in SGH. one is dumb, the other, is wild.
the dumb one-- by end of 12 weeks, i can walk around the whole SGH knowing where i want to go even if my eyes are closed. hahah!the wild one-- i want to learn how to titrate warfarin dose!

there doesn't seem to have much difference in OPD and SOC. well, both refers to Outpatient anyway. what can i expect? hahah! this is tiring, but i guess is only for the first few weeks, when adapting.
everyday from mrt station, i walk a superrrrrrrrr longlonglonglonglonglonglong walk to SOC clinic. haven't start work, i am already warmed up. lol!
i will be in SOC (Specialist Outpatient Clinic) for the next 3 weeks too. during these times, i need to do AT LEAST 4 DISPENSING. fairy god-mother, can you please turn this place to hougang polyclinic? Dispensing in SOC is no joke. looks much more scarier than Hougang Polyclinic. o.O
and after work everyday, i will go *saya lapar gila*
LOL! i wonder what will happen to me in the next 12 weeks. hahah!
before i end this post, here's a reply to Bestest Buddy:
it's not that i no longer need your motivation. it's just that, i wanted to show you how much i have changed, or maybe, improved. and hopefully, once again, there is another time when you can actually be proud of me. because it seems that, there isn't many a times when i could do things that would actually make you feel proud that i am your friend, isn't it? :/

i didn't realize i was so tired. & i thought SOC wasn't as bad as OPD in HP. i thought the people were more relaxed la.
in the morning, walked to station as usual, stood in mrt from tampines to outram as expected, standing and walking around the whole day as expected. evening when end work, stood all the way back from outram to tampines, as expected, and walked home as usual. i thought i wasn't tired, wasn't drained, until when i reached home & finally sit down and had the chance to stone. then i realized i was really tired. HAHAH! oh man... *shakes head* i feel old. -.-
*coughs coughs*
It hasn't got better, in fact, worse.
It has been 1 week since i saw Dr Steve about my cough and flu and whatever. It has been 1 week since he gave me 2 bottles of that yucky-like-urgh DMP cough syrup. It has been 1 week since he told me 'no fried food, no cold food and drinks, you should know it yourself , right?' It has been 1 week, and i wonder how much of what he said has gone into my ears; thinking of the countless fried food and cold food i had taken, countless cold drinks i had taken. Not forgetting how i had given up on that super yucky-like-shit DMP after just ONLY 5ml of it when i should be taking 10ml per dose in the first place. i wonder what will happen if MMR sees this. LOL!
