i am going to post about my attachment @ hougang polyclinic.

LOL!!!!!

7th Sept:

met nel at braddel and walked to Jackson Square. and we got lost. basically, because we walked to the wrong way of Beatty Sec. -.-! after their orientation, lunched, and headed to hougang polyclinic with khairul (attachment buddy) i guessed we were there at a super wrong time because their system was totally down that day, and the place was so chaotic that no one really had the time to bother about us. hahaha. so after a brief intro by supervisor, we were much left on our own. and basically followed what others did.

so the whole afternoon, we were picking and picking and picking drugs. sometimes, help to put in plastic bags. just one afternoon, and it was very very tiring. and my heels almost killed me.

home-ed after work. went on FB, and saw whole class commenting on attachment. and our final conclusion was, WE LOVE SCHOOL!!!! haahhaa. and WE WANT SCHOOL! hahaha. but, we can't be studying forever ma.. so, let's get use to it ba. haha. :)

8th September:

i got a chance to sit at front counter and give out Q number. was quite nice to do it because i get to sit down and rest my legs, which is good la, because my blisters on my legs were killing me. like seriously... and giving out Q numbers, time also pass every fast lo.

9th September:

today was quite chaotic as well. haha. because their system sort of went hay-wire. and our lunch time was shortened. and ended up couldn't meet choon hong for lunch. hahaha. put him aeroplane like super last minute. SORRY! anw, i did not get to do front counter in the afternoon today. but i got to do it at around 5pm, when most people is starting to go home, and less patients are coming in. haha.and i get to shred papers, which also makes time pass even faster. hahaha.

and i went to work with super many plasters. i had 7 or 8 plasters all together.

and i told mummy:

'other girls spend 10 minutes doing make up before going for work.

i spend 10 minutes pasting plasters before going for work.'

blisters were super duper painful!!!!!

after work, went down to NYP for training. and saw Mr Kelvin Tan & his daughter. hahah. talked about attachment, and showed him my fingers. ok, i practically showed my fingers to everyone that day. hahhaa. and he say, everyone has it, which is true la, because our FB for the past few days were like so chaotic and funny, talking about attachments, and how many paper cuts our fingers had suffered.

i sort of quite slacked during training because i was tired already le. and Skye came down!!! hahaha. so long didn't see him le. and there were a lot of things that we could say lo. so many things to catch up with, but so little time. hahahahha.

10th September:

flew choon hong aeroplane again. hahaha. didn't meet him for lunch again because we got meeting during lunch. and Mr Chong, one of the senior pharmacist, asked a question about Mefloquin. and everyone could not answer except khairul and me. hahha. and khairul answered the question. AND HE BLUSHED! hahahhaa. so funny!!! after that, also had pharmacotherapy lesson. LOL! no la, is Mr Chong taught me and another PT guy (samuel) & khairul how to use nasal spray. & also how to counsel patient with use of it, and what to take note all these. and after he explained it, he made us do it too, and it was soooo pharmacotherapy. I MISS SCHOOL! then he taught us about pediatric dosing as well because samuel asked him. so it became pharmacology lesson. and khairul and i couldn't answer his question on pediatric dosing of paracetamol. OMG! so dui bu qi  Mr Kelvin Tan!!! hahhaa.

11th September:

it's friday. hahaha. it's not the end of the week. coz there's still work tmr. but i can conclude that, actually work at there is not that bad actually. the more you think it is bad, the worse it is. so might as well enjoy it, right? hahaha. so i shall enjoy and learn at the same time! at least i know they appreciate my efforts at work. which is nice. hahaha. & i like to top up stocks, as well as packing them for buffer, etc. those like factory workers do de job (as described by khairul) because those jobs can be done easily, no need use brain de. hahah. and you just need to move your fingers. that's all! hahhahaha! & one of my colleague laughed at me because i was talking to myself while picking medication. (i was just reminding myself how much more tablets i need to take.) and many of them laughed at me because my mental calculation is VERY VERY VERY BAD! and i can't caluclate well on how many loose tablets i need to take.

today is friday. now i know 126 = 112 +14.

hahhahaahh!

wednesday (2nd September)

everyone went to enjoy.. i went for training in school. not grumbling, because havne't been training for long. and it has been a super duper long time since i trained in NYP due to night lessons and tests... tired night for training. mentally drained because my brain over-worked. soe things happened, and emo-ed after that. well, not writing what happened. but thanks WeiMun for pei-ing me talk for quite long. and WeiChong too. thanks buddies. (although i still emo-ed out the night. =(

thursday (3rd September)

think my biological clock has gone haywire. i can auto wake up in middle of night asking myself if i need wake up study not. -.-


well, luckily i went back to lala-land right after convincing myself i dont need to. woke up late late after that. so shuang. like long time since i ever did that.


afternoon went to chalet. met them at downtown east.. put things awhile, then went arcade. surprisingly, nothing interest me at all. not even Daytona anymore. weird. haha. is that good or bad? after that, went back to chalet with the girls (while guys stay and play) and we go take the food and prepare and watch teevee.
bored, so played with Sam's ipod touch. that game.. not bad! hah. but i got poor coordination skills. LOL!. ipod touch is nice!


they started fire and bbq after that, while Eve and Lionel continue make water balloons and store them in fridge. LOL! the fridge became total filled with water balloons when they ended. lots of nice stuffs were bbq-es thanks to nel and eve's colleagues, sam and lionel.. ok. ALL the guys.


then they started playing indian poker. loser must forfeit. drink alcohol cum Zapple. and the alcohol was 40% i think. OMG! (bought by Flynn, i think.) first round, me and sam lost. actually have to drink, but in the end, didn't. actuallly supposed to end of game drink, but i think we forgot about it. fel fel down-ed two cups and she kock out STAT. eve also half knock out.


i didn't get to play water balloons at all because i went home around 10plus going 11pm. sian.was quite looking forward to it though. well, nvm. there's always next time. hopefully. haha

friday (5th September)

day with loves to celebrate mich birthday. lunched at Phin's. intended to go flyer de. but mich no studen pass. so in the end we didn't go. i randomly suggested we go watch movie. and we really did. LOL! ended up with Dance Flick instead of G-Force. haha. Dance Flick was... -.-


the scenes were like sooo.._____ (fill in the blanks yourself, because i dont know how to explain.) i just didn't know if i am suppose to laugh or what. anw, it didn't really make me laugh like crazy or go home with reflective thoughts. haha. but their dance moves weren't that bad though. (and some scenes were nonsensical, LOL)


went gai gai too. around all the 3 malls. and i bought something special. hahahah! shall not say what is it. LOL!


after everything, went to macmac for ice-cream. then home sweet home.

saturday (6th September)

GRPS day. my last day there due to attachment starting. dont know should i be sad or not. happy because don't have to wake up so early.. although attachment still need to la..


and sad because i cannot see my xn-s anymore.. >.< LOL!


been there for few months. i can't say i never learn anything. interacting with the kids sometimes make me feel young, sometimes make me feel old. hahah. although they do make me feel like vomitting blood sometimes, but there had been time when i feel proud when i manage to teach them something. and i think some of them quite cute, though they are naughty. hahaha.


after grps, nowhere to go. so went back to tampines. actually want go macmac slack for a while, but it's crowded. so me and jt go walk walk. she ended up buying a adidas sports bag. and coz broke le, so we didnt go back mac. haha. saw a adidas top quite nice. too bad i am broke. if not impulse buying may occur again. hahah.


& homed after that. tired. went to play with the toy that i bought yesterday. play finish, plop, and i fell asleep. hahah! o.Ops! lazed until ard 7pm then finally get out of my snuggly bed. LOL!

sunday (6th September)

last day of hols, dedicated to training. it's usual lo.. morning dedicated to hong wen, and night dedicated to tampines. in between, afternoon dedicated to my dear bed and dale dale. it's a rainy day today. but trainings made me sweat like crazy lo. ok, maybe can jian fei. LOL. am getting fat. i better buck up.

Pharmacy Management (2nd September)

Pharm Management was really bad.

as far as i remember, this is the first time i left questions blank ever since i stepped into NYP.

once told myself that, out of TPSS, no questions is exams should be left blank, but that Sales Strategy question really left me staring at it and nothing comes out. it's not that i don't want write anything, i don't even know what to write. RARR!!

Basic Pharmacology (31st August)

Basic Pharmacology wasn't as bad, though i also buang a little. i thought i am quite pro..coz i stayed wide awake from 230am all the way till after exams.. upon reaching school, i realized i am not.. coz evelyn didn't sleep the whole night. ok, she said, for 30 minutes..and the whole class was zombie-like.. hahah! and i want clarify. it's not i don't want sleep.. but when i close my eyes, all the drug names come flying around.. so i just could not sleep.. LOL!

for this paper, very dui bu qi Mr Tan Chee Boon and Mr Peter(y)

let's say Mr Peter's Oncology first..

i took about 4 hours just to understand what i am reading.. haven't study yet.. just plainly to understand what i reading. so sian lo..and come out his questions... i was like 'huh?' ok la, at least i could do a little..so wasn't that bad. hahaha. at least i know that the drug given is monoclonal antibodies. HAHA!

then Mr Tan's Psycho pharmacology..

MPH came out again..

woo~ hahha. his psycho pharmacology questions were a bit hard. i had to list down the class before i know how to answer the qn..so my whole exam paper was filled with 'anti-depressants', anti-psychotics' and their classification. LOL!

for his anti-hypertensives, it came out in essay. half of it was similar to past year paper. so was ok. but he added questions.. which i got a little stunned. haha. until now, i still don't really know what if statins + calcium channel blocker happen. felt like writing 'no drug interaction because different MOA'. but it's two marks leh.. can someone tell me the answer? haha!

ohoh.. Ms Ong's Anti-thrombotic didn't come out much. phew~ coz i just read through her notes only. hahah!

Pharmaceutical Analysis (27th August)

before the paper, i kept asking janella 'if i study tutorial only and not lecture notes, you think can pass?' and her reply was 'can.. coz i also study tutorial only..' HAHAH! so i really study those tutorial only.. for HPLC machines. and Dr Henry de jiu study lecture notes.

when reach school, realize prolly the whole class study tutorial only for the HPLC things lo. HAHA. luckily it was enough. hahaa. and i was like praying Dr Henry would ask question about solvent-partition and solid-phase partition question. and he did! haha. but the problem was i forgot what i studied.. not totally, but i only remember a bit here and there.. haiz.. wasted!

Essentials of Business Management (26th August)

My debt ratio calculate wrong!!!!! haiz.. anyhow throw marks away like that... =(

the whole paper, i was writing lots of stuffs. until my hand was so aching... an poor little finger almost had cramps. -.-

i did the HR question. but don't really know if everything's right or not. coz some is anyhow bomb. haha. for the compulsory question, there was this question that was weird. what market trend and industry de. totally no head what they asking. TSK!

Pharmacy Practice 3 (25th August)

haiz.. dou say le. don't like, Don't Like, SUPER DON'T LIKE and hate purple flower. echinacae came out in 5 marks question. expected it, but the questions i still don't know how to do! 5 marks, i think score 1 mark only? but other than that, others ok lo.. at least i think so. *hope hope pray pray*

08082009 (saturday)

actually nothing much to do. plus there was no grps.was studying Aseptic Dispensing test in the morning, and then went to T1 to gai gai during the afternoon.

JD was looking for his white cap, and he finally got it. CONGRATS~ and i got the 'honour' to wear it for quite some time. -.- after that, went to look for my birthday present. felt like getting something for myself, but guess what, i dont know what to buy. sometimes, i dont even know what i really want.

anyway, after gai gai jiu go home liao. thought some thoughts, guessed went a little emo too much.

promised someone that i would tell him/her my story, but until now i haven't. sorry, not that i don't want to say. i guess that i just could not find the right time and also the guts to say it out bah. anw, i guess he/her should have guessed a little? don't know...

09082009 (sunday)

HAPPY NATIONAL DAY


today is the actual day of performance. went to pek kio at around 1pm plus or was it 2pm plus? forgot.. anyway, reached there, and some of us put tattoo on our face. i chose the NDPeeps tattoo. then board bus to marina platform.

reached there, then start to rot. actually brought pharmacotherapy tutorials to revise. hopefully someone would be kind enough to be my patient. but well, in the end, i didnt even take it out. -.- so we really rot lo. we went walking around. had old chang kee. actually want to have ice cream de, but too full to have it. think back, that was the last time having free ice cream leh, should have taken lo. LOL! (typical singaporean).

then since f1 pitt was damn hot, so we sat outside. happily transferring songs from RuiQi's phone to mine. haha. she got lots of nice songs. LOL! and we took quite lots of photos with our phones and Alvin's camera. then ShuTing, JingTing, FengWei, RuiQi and me went to the flyer there to feed fish. haahha!!!! then after a while jiu eat dinner le. last day, had KFC. plus bird nest drink. lol!

then proceed to NDP performance. last time doing the performance. but not very excited coz not first time doing the routine. but feel quite high. blah blah... then to finale.. we were duper high! hahaha! took lots of photos, and do crazy things. like everyone running around the whole stage, and having food fight. like people throwing biscuits all around. LOL!

others, oops, i cnt rmb much. but i know i had lots of fun that night. ;p

10082009 (monday)

SENTOSA DAY!


hahha. wasn't that bad. spent most of the time in the water, but did not tan much because there was no sun due to the rain in the morning. considered good ba. coz at this moment, dont feel like tanning much. hoho!

blah blah.. then went to vivo at around 4plus? then went walking around with dada. went to adidas (as usual la.) but well, nothing much there. too bad. went NUM and saw a singlet with the word 'tampines' on it. LOL! was telling dada that if i were to wear that, then it seems that i am telling everyone i live in tampines la. okies. i am speaking rubbish.

11082009 (tuesday)

pharmacy practice practical test. was done in the new teaching pharmacy. which was super duper cold!!!! we had different stations. me and nel were partners. practically stone at nutraceuticals question. OMG! what yellow flower question.. went -.-||

some stations were quite easy too. coz we were like reading the guidelines or something? then there was this packet of dont know what tablets. forget liao. anw, nel say it's very cute. and she almost wanted to bring one home. -.-

after that had attachment briefing. got to know FYP topic. luckily, my FYP falls on second half of IPP. which means, doing it next year @ SGH. well.. i still dont know what to do for it. dont even feel like thinking. tsk tsk.. and we still dont know which polyclinic are we going to. except that first day report at some Jackson Square place.. wondering where is it..

12082009 (wednesday)

no school today. so stayed at home to K pharmacotherapy test as well as Aseptic Dispensing test. almost went crazy. rarr rarr! did not went training either... tsk.

13082009 (thursday)

pharmacotherapy test. am number 20 to go for it. kept praying that i wont get you-know-who. well i didn't. hahah! got Mr Kelvin for the prescription part (woohoo!) and Ms Yong for the second part.

OMG! i got hair loss case study. which made my mind went blank STAT! was like besides recommending Minoxidil, others dont know what to say le. and it was so obvious coz i was practically staring back at Ms Yong. and she had to prompt me. haiz... damn sad... emo-ed the whole day after that...

14082009 (friday)

went to school for pharm analysis lab. 150 eppendorf! we broke record. LOL! and we managed to do it in  2 hours. Dr Henry thought we wanted to submit 150 samples lo. crazy. hahaa!

blah blah.. in evening got Aseptic Dispensing test. 30 min close book and 20 minutes open. could not get much stuffs in my head. by end of 30 minutes close book, everyone had already finish what they know and waitng for open book liao. LOL! dont know what to think about the paper. because scared disappointment.


like what i told someone, i hope that when i get my result, i dont need consolation from anyone. though it is only an elective topic, but it still means something to me afterall.

15082009 (saturday)

grps in the morning. no jt, no wm. so bored! then went to yf and fh with them, and went grading at night. nv grade la, only go there see, help and support. overall, think everyone did quite a good job. ;p


ps: i was a little high that night because of something. i think only JT knows. haha. no prizes to know what it is. LOL~  xn... hahhax!

at night, went to airport to send wushan off. reached home at 12am plus.

16082009 (sunday)

routine day. morning hw. but afternoon went to watch movie with dada and chia wei. watched UP. haha.

the story was nice nice and niceee!! like what the movie critics say, the story between the old man and his wife was very touching. and i sort of 'drop tears' when watching the stories between the couple. but they dont know! hahah!

the story made me think. 

like what dada say about the old explorer.

like how he fought for things that did not belong to him. 

and the old man who had so strong determination to keep his house. 

and his strong determination to move to Paradise Falls so as to fulfill his wife's dream.

and his love for his wife.

and how he moved on with his life when he saw his late wife's message for him-- 'to look for new adventure'.

and how he let go of his house towards the end..

and rusell and his love for kevin the bird. and determination to keep the bird when it got injured.

at night, went training. well as usual...

17082009 (monday)

went school at 11am to take HPLC results. waited quite long.

so the waiting process ended up us doing the ppt skeleton as well as me uploading most photos of NDP in FB. LOL! didnt really finish yet. shall complete it when i have the time or something.

well, anw, when we got back result, horror and more horror!!!!! we did not get what we wanted. no sample peaks at all. like AT ALL!!!! so we were kinda stuck in the ppt. called dr henry, and the only way out was to have another lab session. like so RARRRR!!!! our conclusion was, our dilution factor was way too small. another conclusion is, the 150 eppendorf lab went down the drain. felt so so so so down after that. demoralised. discouraged. de-motivated. =(((((

18092009 (tuesday)

really went to do lab. SERIOUS WORK LO! thanks to dr henry and jing quan. clarified most of our doubts, and we finally knew why our dilution was so so small. and i felt so dumb after that. thanks to jq wrt to some calculations too.10X dilution!  hahah!

finished prac at about 12 plus. lunched and homed. duper tired. went sleep, wake up and study. and here i am, trying to blog and do sth abt tmr's ppt.

yes, pharmacy analysis ppt is tmr, and we are getting the results tmr as well as finish up the ppt and present it. everything at one go. i think my group members are really tough. we are all fighting hard to beat time juggling this prac as well as time to study.

i hope i can find the same strong determination like the old man in UP. the very strong determination to do things in the way that he wants. but can i? i dont know.. really.... i hope i find it like real soon, and able to use it during exam period. haiz..

tuesday (28 july)
received common test results online... haish.. dont know what to comment about it. was quite disappointed with EBM. others jiu still ok. pharmacology result was a combination of first and second test, hence, grades was a little low. BUT, who am i to blame for such results? only me, myself, I right? BUCK UP! exams are coming soon! Aseptic dispensing wise, was not that bad. top student for MCQ. hahah! but Justin snatched the top student position away la.. so i on par with nel in second position. LOL!

wednesday (29 july)
had final lunch time concert. actually doing lian bu quan with rui qi they all, but ended up the decision was i do solo. BUT, at last minute, GX had an impromptu decison to join me. WOOHOOO! finally after so many lonely solo performance, i got partner again liao. hahha. GX is damn zai. he performed like thrice... when everyone did one routine only. and three routines were alternate of each other. hahah!

after performance, we had free photo taking and popcorns and candy floss. haha. then went back to BLK S there to continue my thingy, and prepare for the long-awaited NAPFA.

went to tong pang some of our lappies and stuffs at clubroom, then prepare for NAPFA. dada came to 'give support'. hahha! helped me warm up and stretch a little too. thanks~~ =)
after a while, the trainer led some warm up too, but his warm up and no warm up is like totally no difference de lo. i think i prefer ban tui. hahah! pain, but useful. LOL!

first station was incline pull up. haiyo! no good! little more to hit 11 lo. but no strength liao. hahah! plus sweaty palms make me hard to pull myself up. BUT think back again, considered an improvement le ba. when in primary school and secondary school, at most only can do 3 nia.. -.-

sit ups was second station. no sweat! hahaha. still got time to rest after hitting target. thanks to the usual training at nyp on abs.. LOL!

third station was standing broad jump. flew 181! yeah!!! grow so old first time can fly so far. hahahha! i rmb in sec four, i flew 165cm only lo. like just nice hit ____ de height. HAHA!

fourth was shuttle run. TOTAL BUANG! coz i tripped. damn sian. just passed. right on the dot. =(
re test also same result, because it was after 2.4km run. that time already cui liao lo.. -.-

fifth station was sit and reach. did not get what i aimed for. =( the strap kept coming up when i went down, damn irritating lo!

last but not least, 2.4km run. hahaha! 17 minutes to pass. so i did some calculations, and ran slowly and relaxing-ly. didnt feel like sweating too much when running. plus run alone de feel was quite good, so.. haha! of course i pass la! LOL! first time jiu pass. remember during secondary school, always must re test how many times just for a pass lo. LOL!

after that went training. no strength liao. can only draw routines.

thursday (30 july)
the whole class came to school with muscles aching all over. LOL! i am not a weirdo la.. of course i also will feel muscle ache. but i guess mine was not as bad as them. because experienced even worse ones after wushu training before. hahah! but my ankles were damn painful and my knees, cannot crack for the whole day, and it felt so stiff. it's an irritating feel. =x

friday (31 july)
ankles stil pain. back also pain. dont know is it because of ___ or not leh.. maybe it contributed to a little? hahah! pharm analysis prac was unsuccessful. plus super big headache when on the way to school.. everything contributed to quite a bad mood. home-ed, and on the way, went to G2000. saw they had additional discount on top of further reductions. so grabbed the chance to top up my wardrobe. hoho! never thought that i would ever owned Black Label tops, but now, i owned 2. MWAHAHAHA! FEEL SO SHUANG! bought other things, and bill chalked up to ~180 bucks. -.-

saw HuiJean in the shop. like so long since i last saw her. she bought a top too. and nel chiong all the way down from home to buy. typical singaporean to chiong! hahah! went back g2 as a customer, feeling is sort of different. most people whom i know de are no longer there already. only left the seniors and sunties which i am not close with. i prefer the past G2000. like when i first join in and those times... hahah!

saturday (1 august)
early in the morning went for grps. feel so stiff. argh. whole day kept cracking my knees and stretching my back. feel like i am an old woman with bones cracking everywhere lo. after that went for NDP. tired while on the way, fell asleep on the bus. reached there, actually thinking of study pharmacology test, but no mood. so after a while jiu went walk walk around flyer there with rui qi and shu ting. went to put on contact lens and bought slurpee. slacked a while at pitt, then super bo liao, so went second round to flyer with rui qi. found a secret place. LOL! going there again on sunday ba. hahhaah!

went back at about 1630, actually to study. but dinner came le! nicest dinner lo. got baked beans! hahahah! nice nice nice! and their bread also nice. LOL! after that jiu prepare performance liao. nothing much. didnt buang. lucky lucky. hahha! end of performance, got our goodie bag, like finally. i got orange! wanted purple but no have. wanted pink, but take closer look, pink is actually not that bright after all. so take orange! heh!

sunday (2 august)
hw in the morning. happily sleeping on the bus, when dada called. fell to his trick SECOND TIME IN A ROW. thanks ah! *bish* fast forward to after training... went home start doing pharmacotherapy. then sleep a while, wake up, completed EBM project. thanks lots to JX kor for his help. if not, i think i wont be able to do my part lo.. ;p
at night went for training again. super tired tired and tired. and woke up in the middle of the night to study pharmacology. i think i am zai! hahha!

monday (3 august):
prepared for mock interview. hoho! was not that bad la. after that stayed back and cleared up pharmacy management project. i think my pharm group members are cool! hahaha. coming up with funny ideas, but yet can develop to good ones. i think this is how ideas come about in the first place ba. hahha! anw, we are the hottest pharm group, right khairul? LOL! wanted to wake up in the wee hours to study pharmacology again, but head was super pain that i was unable to get up. so slept through... sian..

tuesday (4 august)
comm skills interview! i was the last one together with fel lo... damn scary, coz heard that mr alex was shooting damn weird questions. anw, he didnt ask me any funny questions at all. phew~ today class end early, so went AMK with eve and nel and ps to buy formal wear. yala, g2000 again. LOL! nel is really someone who cannot resist temptations. HAHAHAH! ate sumo house with eve, then jiu home le. till now! hahah.

okies, it's time to study pharmacology liao.
anw, it's been a super long post.
week 17 is nearing. OMG! 2 and half more weeks to exams. what am i doing? what have i done???!!!

i think i am becoming a panda soon.

NDP in the rain.
like so WOW! man!
it was only towards the finale then the rain came..
luckily not during our segment.
if not..
first, short-circut.
second, we might be SLIDING towards our formation instead of RUNNING.
haaha.

was indeed a memorable day for me.
18-and-going-19, and yet, this is my first time in a such a big rain for such a long time.
watching fireworks in the rain.
say the pledge in the rain.
sing national anthem in the rain.

playing in the rain.
take photo in the rain.
splashing water at everyone.
collecting rainwater with the helmets and pouring it over people.
especially chia wei.
hahah!

and everyone was drenched from head to toe.
