Muar and Malacca 2013

The very anticipated trip way way before exams kicked in. After so many discussions and change of plans, we finally headed to Muar and Malacca! A big THANK YOU to Joshua and family for being awesome hosts.

20th December, after, or I should say towards the end of the pharmacy party, we grabbed our bags and headed straight to the car waiting for us at SGH. Headed down to custom and reached Joshua's house by midnight. His family members were all wide awake waiting for us. Hahha.

The following day, we headed out for breakfast (Bak Kut Teh!) and after some touring to deer farm and a huge aquarium, we headed to Malacca! Aside from the shopping centres, we went down to Jonker Street, which displays more traditional stuffs. Also a tourist attraction place. We actually had the intention to head further to XianHao's hometown for seafood, but oh well.. just saying. HAHA! At night, we went prawning! Thanks to XianHao and his craving for prawning. He was practically bugging Joshua to find out where we can prawn. It was my first attempt, and didn't expect that it could be so fun. The first waiting process was quite boring, but took that chance to learn from Joshua and KaiXiang. After KaiXiang and I caught the first prawn (we were the first among all of us to caught the prawns!), I started playing with the earthworms and caught more prawns subsequently. :D

After that, Josh brought us to a mama shop for late night supper, and the uncle whipped up a feast with the prawns (14 in total) we caught. yumyums!

22nd December (Sunday!) we were rushing!!! Headed out to eat breakfast, chiong-ed down to Giant hypermart to grab cheap goodies, went for lunch, pack bag, and off we head back home!!!!

3 days 2 nights. My mini graduation trip. Thank you everyone for being so sporting during this trip. There could have been more photos, but we were just too crazy to capture those moments. Now, let the pictures do the talking!

without KaiXiang & Josh because they are the front seaters!

INCREDIBLE HULK! I WANT!

Second group shot, while having Asam Laksa and Chendol!

the awesome durian puff with durian paste flooding your mouth after the first bite.

i love this picture! So amazed by the Thousand Flower Tea! How the flower opens its petals after being soaked for a period of time in hot water.

 *prawning prawning!*
