A tribute to Mr Lee Kuan Yew

23 March 2015,
The day Singapore bids goodbye to our founding father.
Since that Monday morning, everyone turned up to work with a heavy heart.
During this whole mourning week, there had been so many news, articles, tributes everywhere.

I thought I wouldn't drop any tears but I was wrong.
It hit me quite hard in a way different from everyone else.
It was when I saw the familar Lexus following the hearse to Istana on facebook / news.
The Lexus which I have seen numerous times in SGH Block 7, and the familiar faces of the bodyguards. That was when I really felt the sadness.

Attempted to go to Parliament House to pay my last respect, but it wasn't successful. A 12 hours waiting time was expected and I really couldn't make it because of yoga class that I booked earlier on.

All in all, we still want to say:

Thank you Mr Lee, for everything that you have done for us.
For giving us a safe country to live in
For giving us a clean and green country
For training us to be bilingual, and yes, we are proud of it.
For the multi-racial and multi-cultural environment we live in
For the safest environment.
And many more.

And the most important thing is,
For giving us a place we call home,

I am proud to be a Singaporean, and I will always be.

Post-graduation shots

& up are my post-graduation photos! The solo ones are not edited yet, so here I am, uploading the combined ones. Many thanks to Tomi, Amanda's brother-in-law for these awesome pictures.

Always jokingly saying that Amanda is my one and only friend in university life. Well, in a way yes she is. Because I was seeing her more than seeing my parents and we were literally there for each other for all kinds of obstacles we faced.

I still have yet to upload my convocation photos. Still in a lazy mode to upload the photos I have in my phone to the laptop, sensing how soon I feel this little Vaio is gonna crash soon. Plus, I really think that I look fat in my convocation gown. HAHAH!

Anyway, the main point is, I HAVE GRADUATED!!! :)

Congrats for attaining Bsc (Hons) in Pharmaceutical Management 2nd Upper Class Honours. OH YEAH! :D

Happy New Year 2015!

Hello,

It has been long since I last posted here! Haha! Life has been pretty good after leaving SGH I must say. May have left the workplace, but bonds with the people have been relatively closer than before. Touched that they still ask me out for lunch, dinners, farewells, keeping in touch, etc.

FHG colleagues are not bad too. The JASSS clique keep me going. The mother hand & her little chickens and ducks during lunch. Though sometimes I do feel awkward around them because sometimes I feel that I cannot blend in as well as SGH clique. But oh well, maybe it's just the timing and stuff. Cannot really compare 4 year friendship with 4 month friendship kinda stuff.

Anyways, it's my first post in 2015. So I'm gonna introduce my FHG colleagues here with some pictures that we took during D&D.

Ending with new year resolution, which is to be healthier and happier!
Also, to save much more money so that I can go for lasik and japan tour hopefully within one year! :D
