18022008: Biostatistics
well oh well... i seriously hope i can score in this paper. if not, it will seem as though i study for nothing. calculations have benn never my best friend, maths have been my worst enemy for so many years. i hope this will be the first time they aren't after so many years. chiong-ed the last questions on chi-square like siao, i hope all my calculations are right. ANOVA table made me went crazy for some moments. and i thinnk i made the right choice in giving up conditional probability. hahah. coz it didnt really came out, didnt it? even if it did, i didnt know. hahaha. i guess if i dont score, i might have pulled my hair out for nothing. =x
20022008: Organic Chemistry
chair conformation didnt came out!!!!!!!!!!! nucleophilic substitution didnt came out! chimilogy questions didnt come out!!! HENG AH!!!!!!!!!! hur hur.. but but.. i still stone at the questions. i guess my section B was easy to score, easy to lose marks as well. reactions were like... AARRGGHHH! pulling my hair out regarding reaction mechanisms. now, A is impossible, B+ is highly impossible also already.. haish... =x i think i lose about 15 marks at section B lah... *bang wall*
22022007: Cell Biology
history is repeating itself again.. i stayed up until 1 am plus to finish all the chapters, i sleep for 2.5 hours, and woke up at 4 am to d revison. just like what i did in secondary school when i was studying Biology. the only difference is that pure biology paper starts at 8am and cell biology paper starts at 9am. anyway, this paper had me stoned for quite some time. i was praying nucleic acid not to come out. it didnt. i was praying mechanism of cancer not to come out, it didnt. i prayed that amino acids not to come out. IT CAME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and there was this question about Hox gene, where we had to draw the Drosophila.. *faints* i dont even know where to start lo.. how am i suppose to draw a fly when i didnt even study the fly as an example??? -.- and it meant 6 marks flying away from me. plus the 10 marks on amino acids. DIE.. =(((((
im so dead man... my essay gone case just like that. my another A gone case just like that.. BOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by the way, i studied mitosis and meiosis part of random assortment and crossing over so detailed, but didnt come out at all.. dont know if i should be sad or happy. if only that question can replace the amino acid question....
25022008: Biochemistry
mr alvin eun let us off in this biochem exam by not setting super chimilogy questions, be it MCQ or structured questions. unlike common test, he didnt gave MCQ question on Kreb Cycle, Glycolysis, Gluconegenesis... i mean, with the intermediates and enzymes... giving me terrible headaches.. haha. i spent 3 full days on Biochem, memorizing like.. 10++ cycles??? brain juice almost finish already lo.. luckily structured questions were not that difficult. accept for the drawing of ETS. that one sort of pull my hair out too. >.< style="font-weight: bold;">
